Amado Antonini is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in robotics and machine vision, currently serving as the Director of Robot Perception at Symbotic since April 2023 and as a Senior Machine Vision Engineer at OpenSpace since November 2021. As the Founder and CEO of AuTurn since January 2020, Amado has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership. Previous roles include Perception & Autonomy Engineer at Draper, Deep Learning Engineer at ZENUITY, and Graduate Student Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Amado developed autonomous vehicles. Early career experiences include roles at KEECKER, Duckietown Engineering Co., GEAR Lab, and Centre de Robotique - MINES ParisTech, focusing on various robotics and engineering projects. Amado holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
