John Coan has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. John started their career as a Royalty Analyst at Kelly Services in 2007, then transitioned to become an Assistant Appraiser at Statewide Appraisal Services for five years. In 2009, John became a Legislative Staff Researcher for the Co-Chair of the House Finance Committee in the State of Alaska, where they presented and defended legislation and handled preparation work for various committees.
Moving forward, John joined Two Degrees as a Financial Consultant, supporting the Business Strategy Consultants group of Microsoft Consulting Services by creating forecast models and establishing cost and revenue targets. John then joined SAP SuccessFactors and held multiple roles including Customer Value Analyst and Customer Engagement Executive. In these roles, John focused on customer success, maximizing recurring revenue, and driving customer engagement.
John's next role was at Amobee, where they were a Strategic Account Manager responsible for the relationship and customer success of one of Amobee's largest platform clients. John also served as an Account Manager before being acquired by Amobee in 2017. At Signal, John worked as a Client Director, and at Qualio, they held the position of Director of Customer Success, helping companies with compliance and team integration.
Most recently, John joined OpenSpace as the Director of Operations. The precise dates for certain positions are not provided.
John Coan attended the University of Nevada, Reno from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance. John'sfield of study within finance had an emphasis on accounting. In 2013, John Coan also obtained a certification as a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
