Eric Kessels

Eric Kessels serves as the CTO and CISO at Fairbanks International Group since March 2013, where expertise in OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, and NFV is utilized to manage a team of high-tech solution experts and innovate cloud services in collaboration with companies like IBM, Red Hat, and Veritas. Kessels is also a member of the OpenInfra Advisory Board, promoting the OpenInfra foundation in Europe and coordinating technical events. Previous roles include ownership of Share-It, providing video observation systems for equine environments, and senior consulting positions at ABP Dynamics B.V. and XBI, specializing in Microsoft Dynamics solutions. An extensive career began with a managerial position in ICT at Prime Champ B.V. and earlier roles in systems management and IT at Roto Smeets Weert and Vodafone, complemented by formal education in electronics, IT, and management from the Royal Dutch Navy.
