Daniel Williamson is the Managing Director of OpenStax at Rice University, where they oversee operations that provide openly licensed textbooks to over 2 million learners monthly. Previously, they served as a Research System Analyst and also held the role of COO at UniqU, an educational technology start-up. Daniel has been instrumental in securing significant philanthropic support and establishing partnerships that enhance OpenStax's mission. They participated as a fellow in Leadership Houston, contributing to educational projects that benefit under-resourced schools. Currently, Daniel is pursuing an MBA at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business.
