Michael Volo is an experienced engineering manager currently leading Salesforce solution management at OpenStax, Rice University, since August 2015. In this role, Michael has focused on developing Salesforce solutions and promoting cost-saving technologies, leveraging expertise in SOQL, Apex, LWC, and Flows. Previously, Michael served as a senior software engineer at both OpenStax and Rice University, guiding product development and ensuring high code quality through Test-Driven Development. As the managing partner at Volo Investment Group, and founder of MyCo Labs, Michael has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Additional experience includes managing teams at PBS&J International Inc and a background in advanced web application development, supported by degrees from the University of Houston-Downtown and other prestigious institutions.
