Loïc Tapon

Loïc Tapon is a geospatial expert with extensive experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and cartography. Currently serving as an Administrateur SIG - Géomaticien at SYNDICAT DES EAUX DES ROCAILLES ET DE BELLECOMBE since January 2022, Loïc has also contributed as a volunteer to the OpenStreetMap Foundation since August 2008. Educational roles include teaching GIS and cartography courses at Université Grenoble Alpes in 2022 and 2023. Previous professional experience includes independent geomatics work at Mapimi, project management at SARL Arpentage, and overseeing GIS operations at Mairie de Sallanches. Loïc holds a degree in SIG specialization from IDGEO and a BTS in topographic surveying from lycée dhuoda. Proficient in various GIS software and programming, Loïc has a strong foundation in managing geospatial databases and delivering cartographic services.
