Tomáš Čech

Tomáš Čech is a seasoned software engineer and technical lead with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently at Pure Storage since November 2021, Tomáš serves as a member of the technical staff. Involvement in the openSUSE Project since October 2007 includes maintaining Enlightenment packages and tools related to PalmOS development. As a kernel developer at Hack&Dev since February 2006, responsibilities include maintaining several Palm devices and supporting user needs. Prior roles include Sr. Software Engineer at Ubiquiti Inc. and GoodData, focusing on infrastructure and security, and L3 Software Engineer at SUSE Linux, handling customer support and troubleshooting. Additionally, Tomáš has a background in quality assurance from SuSE CR s r.o. and holds a degree from Charles University.
