Brian Hicks

Brian Hicks has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Brian started their career as a Network Engineer at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, where they maintained network infrastructure and designed network monitoring solutions. Later, at UCLA, they worked as a Programmer Analyst. Brian then joined American Electric Power as a System Analyst, where they analyzed monitoring and workflow processes and automated software deployment. Brian also worked at Adconion Media Group as a Manager of System Engineering, leading a team and designing network and server infrastructure. At Conversant, LLC, they served as the Sr. Director of Systems Engineering, leading a team supporting multiple high-throughput and low latency environments. Currently, Brian is employed at OpenTable as the Principal Operations Engineer, overseeing the maintenance and provisioning of key services and managing a team.

Brian Hicks completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming/Programmer, General from Purdue University in 2001. Brian also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Governors University in 2018. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in August 2017.
