Michael Bell

Michael Bell currently serves as a Software Architect and previously held the role of Principal Software Engineer at OpenTable since August 2017. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Lead Software Engineer at ClearSlide, where significant improvements were made to code quality and architecture, including the enhancement of the email pipeline and the integration of OAUTH support. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Architecture and Senior Software Engineer at Speakeasy Tech, where contributions were made to the redesign of authorization systems and integration with major platforms. Michael's career began at GWAVA, where responsibilities included managing development teams, and early roles included positions at Novell and Industrial Economics. Michael holds a BS in Chemistry and History from Tufts University and has additional education from Harvard University.
