Ashish Banerjee is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in R&D and product management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at OpenText since September 2017, Ashish oversees ITOM products as a Senior R&D Leader. Prior to this, Ashish held several roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from May 2003 to August 2017, including R&D Section Manager and Program Manager for the HP OM family of products, where responsibilities included customer-focused innovation and maintenance of existing versions. Ashish also contributed as a Project Manager and Technical Lead, managing products related to internet infrastructure monitoring and HP Portal development. Earlier career experience includes a Tech Lead position at Aztec Software and a Software Engineer role at Nucleus Software. Ashish holds an MBA in Operations Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University, a Senior Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and an M.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Allahabad.
