Daniel Vanderwerff

Daniel VanDerWerff currently serves as the VP and Head of Global Tax at OpenText, a position held since December 2019, following the company's acquisition of Carbonite. Prior to his role at OpenText, Daniel was the Director and Head of Global Tax and Treasury at Carbonite, which succeeded Webroot's acquisition in March 2019. At Webroot, Daniel held the role of Director and Head of Global Tax & Treasury, as well as Tax Manager. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at DISH Network from 2007 to 2011. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, obtained in 2007, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, completed in 2006.
