With over twenty years of experience in software development, Ed has a strong background in multi-threaded operating systems, particularly on MS Windows and OS/2 platforms, utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio C/C++. Their expertise includes OLE/COM, ATL, and real-time malware detection, as well as extensive experience in kernel development. Ed has held senior engineering roles at companies such as Symantec and CyberDefender, and has education from the Institute of High Temperature of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Technical University of Moldova.
