Glen Willmot

Glen Willmot is a seasoned cybersecurity and infrastructure expert currently serving as the Cyber Security Lead and Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Animalytix since January 2020. Willmot has successfully led major projects, including the implementation of a Managed Detection and Response cybersecurity solution, the overhaul of network design for improved security, and the establishment of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Prior to this role, Willmot held positions as IT Manager at Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP and Golf Canada, where responsibilities included vulnerability management, project management, and the development of cybersecurity strategies. With a solid foundation in IT infrastructure from earlier roles as an IT Specialist, Willmot possesses extensive experience in systems auditing, maintenance, and user education in security practices. Willmot's educational background includes a Computer Programmer/Analyst degree from Conestoga College and a specialization in Technology Fraud Investigations from Algonquin College.
