Tom Chapin

Tom Chapin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business analytics, information governance, and consulting. Currently serving as the Principal Business Value Analyst at OpenText since July 2017, Tom focuses on maximizing value for customers' software investments. Previous roles include Regional Vice President Services at GlassIG Information Governance and RSD, as well as Senior Managing Consultant at IBM, where responsibilities spanned enterprise content management and business optimization. Tom also held a Director position at both Open Text, Inc. and KnowledgePlanet, and a managerial role at Ernst & Young. In addition to professional achievements, Tom was an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching a comprehensive curriculum on enterprise content management. Tom's military background includes service as a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, with numerous leadership positions. Tom holds a Master's degree in S&T Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Tufts University.
