Chris Eastham

Chris Eastham has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Officer Cadet in the British Army in 2011. Chris then worked as a Solicitor at Dundas & Wilson from 2011 to 2013. Afterwards, they joined Eversheds as a Trainee Solicitor, where they worked from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they also served as a Members' Representative at the British Academy of Fencing. From 2013 onwards, Chris worked at Fieldfisher, starting as a Solicitor in Technology Law and progressing to Senior Associate, Director, and finally Partner. Chris specializes in structuring and negotiating complex commercial contracts and has extensive experience in helping clients navigate regulatory environments. In 2020, Chris also took on the role of Chief Legal Officer at OpenUK.

Chris Eastham attended Toot Hill School from 1996 to 2002. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Leicester from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Physics with Space Science and Technology, earning a MPhys degree. Following this, Chris attended Nottingham Law School from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained an LLB degree in Law. In 2011, they briefly attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, focusing on leadership.
