Liz Rice is the Chief Open Source Officer at Isovalent since March 2021 and serves on the Governing Board of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) since February 2023. Rice is a board member and former Ambassador for OpenUK, recognized as Individual of the Year 2020. Additionally, Rice is a Committer at Cilium and has been acknowledged as an AWS Container Hero by Amazon Web Services and a Google Developer Expert in Go. Previously, Rice chaired the Technical Oversight Committee for the CNCF and held the position of VP Open Source Engineering at Aqua Security. Rice co-chaired KubeCon & CloudNativeCon events in collaboration with the Linux Foundation and co-founded Force12.io. Educational credentials include a BA Hons in Electrical and Information Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Master's in Real-Time Computing from CentraleSupélec.
