OpenUp is a non-profit that leverages our skills in (open) data and technology to empower citizens and governments to create a sustainable and thriving Africa. We believe responsible technology can be a tool for positive social impact when designed properly, collaboratively and empathetically.

Our over ten years experience in co-creating technology in resource-constrained environments has given us insight into the growing, and thriving, African social impact ecosystem. We have helped co-create much of South Africa's open data infrastructure, and are committed to contributing to a positive tech ecosystem focused on advancing human flourishing.
