Bert Jan Schrijver

Bert Jan Schrijver is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. As Co-founder and CTO of OpenValue since August 2017, Schrijver has played a pivotal role in shaping company direction. In June 2023, Schrijver joined the iSAQB® as a Working Group Member, contributing to the CPSA-F curriculum development. With a long history at NLJUG, Schrijver has been a board member and JUG leader since March 2013, as well as serving as an editor for Java magazine. Previous roles include Senior Software Architect at Politie Nederland and various software architecture positions at JPoint, Malmberg, Inter Access, and Quinity. Schrijver began the professional journey as a Software Engineer at New Edge Technologies after obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente.
