Jason Nappi is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale applications. As a Principal Software Engineer at OpenWeb since April 2021, Jason has led the development of a high-capacity email ad server, handling over 1 billion daily requests using .NET C# on Azure. Prior to OpenWeb, Jason served as Principal Software Engineer at Jeeng, managing a similar email ad server with capabilities for 700+ million requests per day. Jason's career also includes significant roles at SmartPak, where functions included directing the eCommerce platform and internal ERP systems, resulting in a fivefold revenue increase. Previous positions at CSN Stores, Commonwealth Financial Network, and Navisite allowed Jason to build a strong foundation in software development across various technologies. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Southern Maine.
