Kirk Thayer

Kirk Thayer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analysis, software development, and security leadership. Currently serving as a Trust and Safety Analyst at OpenWeb since May 2023, Kirk specializes in delivering actionable analytics to high-profile media partners, optimizing automated moderation models, and enhancing user engagement. Kirk's previous tenure at Micron Technology spanned more than 25 years, where roles included Senior Data/Software Development Engineer and Security Lead, responsible for developing comprehensive security policies, as well as managing various engineering teams and projects, notably leading the conversion of Fab 11 to the MES system. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northern Arizona University.
