Ana Calabrese

Ana Calabrese has a diverse work experience, starting as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the National Commission of Atomic Energy in 2005. Ana then worked as a Research Assistant at the Universidad de Buenos Aires from 2006 to 2007 and at Harvard Medical School from 2007 to 2008. Following that, Ana joined Columbia University as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2008 to 2014. In 2014, they began their career in data science, starting as a Data Scientist at Integral Ad Science and working their way up to Senior Director of Data Science. Ana also founded The Clay Lab, NY in 2019, where they served as Founder until present. Ana later joined Veeva Systems as Director of Advanced Analytics from 2020 to 2022 and then as Senior Director of Data Science & Methodology from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Ana holds the role of VP, Head of Data Science at OpenX since 2023.

Ana Calabrese received their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Ana then pursued a Master's Degree in Neurobiology and Behavior at Columbia University from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they completed their education at Columbia University with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational and Systems Neuroscience from 2008 to 2014.
