Marc Walker

Marc Walker has a strong background in sales and account management within the digital advertising industry. Marc has worked for various companies, starting in 2002 with Chicago Tribune Interactive as an Account Manager. From there, they moved to Knight Ridder Digital as an Account Manager, managing a Midwest sales territory. Marc then joined Reuters as a Midwest Account Manager, focusing on sales in the finance/news space. Marc also worked as a Midwest Sales Director for USAToday.com/HighSchoolSports.net, where they contributed to all facets of online advertising sales strategy. Marc later became a Midwest Sales Director for The Huffington Post, developing the Midwest sales territory and selling marketing solutions. Marc then worked as a Midwest Sales Director for MapQuest (AOL), managing a Midwest sales territory and selling national marketing packages. After that, they served as the National Advertising Director, Midwest for Politico, establishing the Midwest territory and selling brand and advocacy advertising packages. Marc then joined GumGum as an Account Director, Midwest, covering the Chicago and Detroit markets. Marc was responsible for driving brand engagement through GumGum's contextual advertising platform. Following that, they worked as a Buyer Development Director for Index Exchange, responsible for the Central region territory and working with key clients. Marc's most recent role is as a Sales Director for OpenX, where they manage a Midwest territory and focuses on supply-side targeting and brand safe inventory.
