Blockchain Security Researcher at OpenZeppelin

Marcin Bury has a diverse work experience in the field of IT security and blockchain. Marcin is currently working as a Blockchain Security Researcher at OpenZeppelin since April 2023. Previously, Marcin co-founded Threat9 in September 2017 and continues to hold the role of Co-Founder. From May 2019 to March 2023, they worked as a Senior Vulnerability Researcher at an undisclosed company, and from June 2018 to May 2019, they held the same position at the same undisclosed company. Marcin also has previous experience as an IT Security Consultant at Securitum from April 2015 to September 2017, and as an IT Security Engineer at Future Processing Sp. z o.o. from June 2012 to March 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Network Administrator at Silesian University of Technology from October 2012 to June 2013.

Marcin Bury attended The Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in September 2015, Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE) from Offensive Security in November 2014, Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in November 2013, and ISTQB Certified Tester from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in May 2013.
