Operation Breakthrough
Lee Duckett is the current Director of Marketing and Events at Operation Breakthrough since November 2004. Previously, Lee has held the position of Director of Application Specialists at Integrated Newspaper Systems from September 1987 to June 1991, and Director of Software and Hardware Applications at Atex from January 1981 to June 1987. Lee graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1974 with a BS in Special Education.
Operation Breakthrough
Operation Breakthrough is the largest single site early childhood center and day care in the state of Missouri. Every day, we serve around 400 children and their families with educational services, speech, occupational and physical therapy, social service support, and mental health services. Children's Mercy Hospital maintains an on-site clinic to serve the health needs of our children. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and are a Head Start Center. Founded in 1971 by Sr. Corita Bussanmas and Sr Berta Sailer as St. Vincent's Family Service Center, we strive to provide high quality educational and support services in a manner that will meet the needs of the families of the inner city of Kansas City, Missouri.
