Operation Heroes Connect (OHC) is a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to reconnecting veterans, restoring communities, and rebuilding futures. Established in 2011 at Marine Corps Base Quantico, our mission is to empower service members and veterans to continue their calling of service long after the uniform comes off.

Through free youth summer camps, back-to-school initiatives, community dinner services, Adopt a Family, and holiday programs, OHC creates pathways of mentorship, hope, and opportunity for underserved youth and families. Our programs also provide veterans with meaningful roles as mentors, leaders, and advocates, giving them renewed purpose while strengthening the communities they call home.

We proudly serve across Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, and beyond — providing thousands of meals, equipping students with school supplies, and hosting events that uplift veterans, youth, and families each year.

At OHC, we believe service does not end at discharge. Every program, every partnership, and every event we host reflects our core values: resilience, service, and community.
