Robin D. Kamara

Senior Director Program Operations at Operation HOPE

Robin D. Kamara, MSW has extensive experience in program operations and administration. They currently hold the position of Senior Director Program Operations at Operation HOPE, where they are responsible for overseeing program operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Program Administration at the same organization.

Before joining Operation HOPE, Robin worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, starting as the Program Manager II for the Educational Talent Search program. They later held the positions of Case Manager at Ridgeview Institute, where they coordinated care for patients with co-occurring disorders, and Adjunct Professor at Belhaven University, where they taught Sociology and Psychology courses.

Robin's work experience also includes roles at Morehouse College as an Academic Advisor, where they provided academic guidance to students, and Clark Atlanta University - Educational Talent Search as a Program Manager II, where they launched and managed the Educational Talent Search program.

Throughout their career, Robin has demonstrated expertise in project management, program development and implementation, partnership cultivation, and staff training and supervision.

Robin D. Kamara, MSW obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Clark Atlanta University between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, Robin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Paine College, which was accomplished between 2006 and 2011.
