Amit Avner was the founder and CEO of Taykey until it’s acquisition by Innovid (NYSE:CTV). As CEO, Amit oversaw all initiatives related to product, engineering, hiring, business development and sales. Taykey was backed by top-tier funds such as Sequoia, SoftBank and Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors.
Amit has a rich engineering background, and has been writing code since the age of 10. Before founding Taykey, Amit served in various engineering and product functions at an elite intelligence unit at the IDF. Prior to that, Amit built one of the world’s first meta-search engines at the age of 14, WittySearch, and completed his computer science degree at The Open University of Israel whilst attending high-school.
An active angel investor, Amit has invested in multiple technology startups in the US and Israel, including Plaid, ByHeart, Voca.AI, NYM Health, Custodia, Nirvana Health, Tropic and Runwise.
