Sarah Blakey started their work experience in 2012 as a Development Manager at EDUCATION ENTERPRISE LEGACY LIMITED, where they worked until 2015. In 2015, they joined Sharpsmart UK and served as a Customer Excellence Supervisor until 2017. Sarah then became the National Customer Service Manager at Sharpsmart UK until 2021. Currently, they work at Opia as a People and Performance Manager, a role they started in 2021.

Sarah Blakey has a diverse education history. In 2008, they began their studies at Teesside University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science, completing their program in 2011. After a few years, in 2014, Sarah pursued further education and enrolled at CACHE, where they completed a Level 3 program in Coaching to Teaching, finishing in 2015. More recently, in 2018, they briefly attended the Chartered Management Institute to further their knowledge in Management and Leadership, although they did not attain a specific degree during this period.
