Albin Wilson

Albin Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Albin is currently working at Roam as the Chief Product & Strategy Officer, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Strategy & Communications Officer at Roam from September 2020 to February 2022.

In 2019, Albin founded Yellowcake and continues to be involved with the company as a Founder. Additionally, they hold the position of Member - Board of Directors at HeroSight, a company that develops AR solutions for training emergency personnel. This role began in March 2020.

Albin's career also includes co-founding Uniti Electric Car in 2015, where they contributed to addressing climate change by creating more sustainable transportation options. Albin held the role of Co-Founder at Uniti Electric Car until August 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Tetra Pak as a Global Hand Carry from February 2015 to September 2016.

Albin also had involvement with Ingenjörer utan gränser (Engineers Without Borders) as a Board Member & Head of Marketing from January 2015 to January 2016. Their maritime experience includes serving as the Chief Officer at Skonaren Ingo from May 2007 to the present. Additionally, they worked as a Captain at Väderöarnas Värdshus & Konferens from June 2013 to August 2014, and as an Officer at Star Clippers from February 2012 to September 2012.

Albin Wilson has a diverse education history. In 2019, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Product Development / Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. In 2013, they briefly studied Business Administration at Lund University. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Chalmers University of Technology and acquired a Ships Captain certification. Albin also completed their secondary education at Polhemsgymnasiet, Goteborg, specializing in Teknik / Industriell design from 2007 to 2010.

Additionally, Albin Wilson has obtained several certifications. In February 2019, they achieved Skyddsombud certification from Sveriges Ingenjörer (The Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers). In May 2018, they obtained a Captain's License - TF 500 Styrman - Certificate from Transportstyrelsen (Swedish Transport Agency). It should be noted that Albin has a Leadership certificate from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, but the specific details regarding its completion month and year are unknown.
