Chris Maina

Chris Maina is an experienced product engineer specializing in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, with a role at Roam since March 2021 that focuses on the design and continuous improvement of EV products. Prior positions include Electrical Vehicle Engineer (R&D), where Chris conducted root cause analyses, developed electrical designs, and performed experiments. Chris also served as an Assistant Project Manager and Electrical Engineer at Top Choice Surveillance Limited, overseeing project planning and execution, and gained foundational experience as an engineer intern at the State Department of Public Works, Kenya, and Hi Tech Designers and Installers. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Technical University of Kenya and further qualifications in Solar PV and PLC.
