In evaluation, a distinction is made between "summative" and "formative" evaluation. While summative evaluation focuses on the result as an assessment of learning, formative evaluation—and Opinoma—is a tool for learning.
Learning technologies provide educational institutions with new opportunities to enhance learning processes and teaching. Opinoma is designed to make the evaluation of teaching processes more data-driven—without increasing the teacher's workload.

Evaluation is an essential didactic element in organizing teaching. Opinoma leverages new technologies and feedback processes to simplify and provide deeper insights into the evaluation process. This simplification enables teachers to quickly achieve data-driven feedforward analysis.

Using Opinoma's question frameworks, tailored to subject level and grade, teachers can create new evaluations at the class and subject level in just a few minutes. The layout and phrasing of questions are adapted to the students' grade level, making the evaluation engaging for students to participate in.

After data collection, the results are automatically analyzed, interpreted, and visualized, and a short video is shared with the teacher. This allows the results to be seen, heard, and read, making the evaluation insightful. Opinoma then suggests didactic articles and activities that contribute to building the teacher's capacity.
