Gordon Ballard

Gordon Ballard is an energy industry professional with 40 years of global experience in the oil and gas sector. They began their career as a Wireline Field Engineer with Schlumberger and ascended to various operational and senior management roles, including serving as the Chair of Schlumberger UK for a decade. Gordon was the Executive Director of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers, where they advocated for responsible and sustainable operations. Currently, Gordon chairs OPITO International and is a director at The Royal Automobile Club while pursuing an MSc in Global Energy and Climate Policy at SOAS University of London. Recognized as a respected leader, Gordon holds honorary doctorates from Heriot-Watt and Robert Gordon Universities.
