Robert Kwak

Robert Kwak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Robert started their career as a Senior LAN Technician at Illinois State University in 2006. Robert then joined Allstate as an Information Security Coordinator in 2007. Later, they worked at Walgreens in various roles such as Systems Administrator, Team Lead Tier 2 Systems Operations, and Systems Engineer. In 2012, they joined Outerwall as a Senior Systems Engineer and eventually became the Manager of Systems Engineering and Ops. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Redbox Entertainment Inc. as a Senior Manager of Systems Engineering and Ops. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Infrastructure & ITOps at OppFi, and they are also serving as a Senior Director of Platform Engineering and Ops.

Robert Kwak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Computer Systems from Illinois State University in 2007. Robert later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Illinois University from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, Robert also obtained various professional certifications such as Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, VMware Certified Advanced Professional, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, and VMware Certified Professional.
