Sten Halgren

Sten Halgren has a variety of work experience in different roles and industries. Sten started their career as an Intern in Fund Accounting at Maples Group in 2016. From there, they became a Summer Analyst in Venture Capital at Glasswing Ventures in 2017. In 2018, Sten joined OppFi, starting as an Analyst in BizOps and later transitioning to roles in Capital Markets and Strategic Finance. Sten has progressed through the ranks, becoming a Senior Analyst and then an Associate before ultimately becoming the Lead of Capital Markets and Strategic Finance in 2022.

Sten Halgren attended Edina Senior High School and received a High School diploma. Sten then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Sten also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management from Indiana University. Additionally, they participated in a Study Abroad Co-Internship program at University College Dublin, focusing on Business Analytics & Modeling. Sten has also obtained certifications in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP and Financial Modeling from Wall Street Prep.
