Tyler Haynes is currently the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at OppFi, a position held since 2024 after serving as Associate General Counsel from 2019 to 2024. Previous to this, Tyler worked as a Senior Corporate Counsel and Associate Corporate Counsel at OppFi. Tyler began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at Markoff Law LLC from 2012 to 2017, following a role as a Law Clerk for the City of Chicago from 2009 to 2012. Educated at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Tyler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics before obtaining a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
