Fan Deng

Fan Deng is a Principal Computer Vision Engineer and Manager at OPPO since April 2018, leading the Perception Lab at the US Research Center in Palo Alto, with a focus on computer vision, 3D geometry, deep learning, and imaging. Prior to this, Fan served as a Senior System Engineer in Computer Vision and Camera R&D at Qualcomm from December 2012 to March 2018, specializing in camera feature research and development utilizing advanced computer vision, computational photography, and image processing technologies. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Firmware Engineer at Link Quest Inc, working on ultrasound imaging from July 2011 to December 2012. Academic credentials include a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Wuhan University.
