Hui Lin

Hui Lin possesses extensive expertise in machine learning and research within the fields of electrical and electronics engineering and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Research Scientist at OPPO, Hui Lin focuses on developing innovative blood pressure monitoring solutions utilizing cuffless wearable devices and advanced deep learning techniques. Previous experience includes internships as a Machine Learning Engineer, where optimization of game recommendation systems took place, and as a Deep Learning Research Intern, where significant contributions were made to model development involving ResNet, Transformer, and LSTM architectures. As a Research Assistant at Northwestern University, Hui Lin engages in machine learning applications, computer vision, signal processing, and healthcare. Educational achievements include ongoing PhD studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a prior PhD in Mechanical Engineering, both from Northwestern University.
