Tao Chen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and banking. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Investment at OPPO since August 2019, Tao leads cash investments of approximately USD 100 million in early-stage startups, with expertise in AI software and big data, green energy, "Chuhai," and Fintech. Prior to this role, Tao worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas from April 2016 to August 2019, where involvement in the completion of three cross-border M&A deals valued at around USD 1.5 billion was achieved. Tao holds a Master's Degree in International Business from HEC Paris and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Tsinghua University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Fudan University.
