Yang Zhou

Yang Zhou is an accomplished research scientist and manager at OPPO, where responsibilities include leading generative AI use cases focused on image compression and restoration, as well as the development of in-house XR algorithms, particularly in hand tracking and automatic data annotation systems. Prior experience includes a role as staff research scientist at SAIC Innovation Center, specializing in perception for autonomous driving and 3D object detection, as well as a position as senior software engineer at Qualcomm, working on mobile camera technologies. Yang Zhou holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
