Ying Wang

Ying Wang is an Applied Scientist and Graphics Engineer at OPPO, with experience dating back to February 2022. Prior to this role, Ying served as a Teaching Assistant for programming and computer graphics courses at Texas A&M University from August 2017 to March 2022, alongside research assistance in the Computer Graphics Lab under Dr. Shinjiro Sueda. Additionally, Ying worked as a Graphics Engineer at OPPO in the summer of 2021 and as a Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis in a deep learning project led by Dr. Mark Anastasio. Ying's early research experience includes a position at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which focused on machine learning algorithms for 3D mesh decomposition. Ying holds a PhD in Computer Graphics from Texas A&M University, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
