John Vanderhider

John Vanderhider has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Partner at Opportune LLP since June 2005, Vanderhider has previously held significant positions including Founding Partner and CEO of The Dorato Group, LLC from January 1998 to May 2005, and Director of Finance at BSG Corporation from 1994 to 1997. Additional roles include Vice President of Finance at Nuevo Energy Company, Assistant Controller at American Exploration Company, and Assistant Treasurer/Assistant Controller at Zapata Corporation. Vanderhider began a professional career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co. after earning a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University between 1978 and 1981.
