Gilles André has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Gilles is the Founder and CEO of OppScience since 2017. Prior to this, they were the Managing Partner at AIDAKI starting from 2014. Gilles also co-founded and served as the Co-Founder & CEO of CustomerMatrix from 2013 to 2017, where they managed European operations and played a key role in product strategy, services, and sales. Before that, they were the CEO of PolySpot from 2010 to 2013. Gilles also served as a Board member at Talend from 2007 to 2010. Gilles founded Augure in 2003 and held the position of Founder & CEO until 2010, where they successfully raised €15 million in funding and achieved €5 million in recurring revenue with a 98% renewal rate. Prior to that, Gilles was the CEO of OTOObe from 2000 to 2001, where they led the relaunch of the project and raised €5 million in funding. Gilles founded Leonard's Logic in 1997 and served as the Founder & CEO until 2000, where they created the first ETL software and raised 40MFF in funding. During this time, they also expanded the company internationally and achieved €30MFF in revenue with 80 employees. Gilles began their career at Thomson Multimedia in 1989 and held various senior roles, including CFO of Thomson Video Equipement and VP Finance & MIS Professional Branch. Gilles was responsible for finance, IT, and legal matters, as well as research funding and program management.
Gilles André obtained their MBA in Marketing and Finance from Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1983 to 1984. From 1980 to 1984, they also pursued another MBA in Marketing and Finance at EBS Paris - European Business School. In 2001, they enrolled at Institut Arnaud Sebal to study Cognitive Therapy and completed their Trainer degree between 2001 and 2003.
