Soon Lee Yeap

Soon Lee Yeap is the Executive Vice President of Oppstar Technology, Malaysia’s first publicly listed IC design house. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor engineering, including significant roles at Intel Malaysia, SL has developed expertise across the full silicon lifecycle, with a focus on SoC and system-level validation. Currently, SL is building world-class silicon validation capabilities in Malaysia and leading initiatives in hardware-software co-development and mentoring engineering teams. SL holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Monash University and a Master’s in Engineering Management from Warwick University.
