James Passafaro is the co-founder and head of operations at opsi, a role they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they served as Chef De Cuisine at Spoon and Stable from 2018 to 2022 and held various culinary leadership positions at MINA Group, including Chef De Cuisine at RN74 and Corporate Chef for Culinary R&D. Their earlier experience includes roles as Sous Chef at Bourbon Steak in Washington D.C. and San Francisco, as well as at Andres Restaurant and Wine Boutique. James received an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.
