Justin Dayer

Justin Dayer has a diverse background in software engineering and leadership roles. Justin started their career in 2013 as a Software Engineer for Open Source Projects. In this role, they gained valuable experience before moving on to Digital Turbine in 2016. At Digital Turbine, Justin worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer and played a key role in developing REST APIs, microservices, and modern web applications. Justin also revamped the existing architecture, leading to cost savings and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

In 2017, Justin joined Merge Healthcare, an IBM Company, as a Full Stack Software Engineer. Here, they rewrote legacy software using Scala, Angular, and Typescript while adhering to strict Functional Programming design patterns. Justin also played a senior role in developing a performant progressive web application for collecting patient diaries, which resulted in significant deals with major clients. Additionally, they contributed to a prototype of an Amazon Alexa competitor using Watson Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning APIs.

In 2020, Justin joined opsix as the CTO. In this role, they worked closely with the CEO and COO to bring an innovative restaurant/hospitality productivity app to life. Justin tripled the number of paying customers and contributed to the development of a reactive mobile-first app.

Later in 2020, they joined Orderly Health as a Tech Lead/Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they constructed a data processing pipeline with a high throughput rate, led large technical initiatives, and optimized the customer onboarding experience. Justin'scontributions led to multi-million dollar contracts with clients.
