John Laban

John Laban is the CEO and co-founder of OpsLevel. John was previously the director of software architecture at PagerDuty, where they were the first employee. John grew and scaled PagerDuty from 4 to 400 people and from $0M to $100MM in ARR. John then moved into an architect-type role, where they worked on both tactical and strategic technical initiatives that had department-wide or company-wide impact. Before PagerDuty, John was an associate/mentor at Creative Destruction Lab, a Canadian startup accelerator focusing on seed-stage companies solving hard problems backed by science and machine learning/AI.

John Laban has a BSE in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
