Kenneth Rose

Kenneth Rose is the CTO and Co-founder of OpsLevel. Kenneth has a long history in the tech industry, starting with their first job as a Senior Developer Lead at Shopify in January 2017. From there, they went on to be a Principal Software Engineer at PagerDuty, where they were responsible for the company's realtime data pipeline. Kenneth then took a parental leave in May 2018 to spend more time with their young son and daughter. In March 2019, they returned to the workforce as the CTO and Co-founder of OpsLevel. Kenneth is an expert in Ruby on Rails, Percona XtraDB, Scala, Cassandra, Zookeeper, Kafka, Finagle, Akka, AWS Lambda, Chef, Consul, and Docker.

Kenneth Rose attended the University of Waterloo, where they earned a B. Math in Computer Science/Pure Mathematics. Kenneth then went on to earn an M. Sc in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia. Kenneth Rose is also certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Product Owner.

They are on a team with Todd Osborne - Head of Worldwide Sales, Megan Dorcey - Head of Marketing. A direct report to Kenneth Rose is and Rob Vretenar - Director of Engineering. Their manager is John Laban, CEO & Co-Founder.
