Ryan Johnson

Ryan Johnson possesses extensive experience in operations and strategy within financial services. Currently serving as Head of Operations & Strategy at OpStart since December 2025, Ryan previously held the role of Head of Operations at Town, focusing on tax solutions for small businesses using AI. Prior to that, Ryan was Vice President of Operations and Head of FinOps at Escalon Services, and earlier, Chief Operating Officer at Early Growth, the largest outsourced CFO and accounting services provider in the venture capital space. Additional experience includes roles at SmartBooks, where Ryan held various positions from Senior Accounting Associate to Consulting CFO, and an internship at HH Brown. Ryan holds a degree in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Accounting and Finance from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
