Rafi Harel

Rafi Harel is the Co-Founder and CEO of Opsys Technologies, a private company specializing in fiber optic technology solutions. Rafi has a team of experienced engineers and experts, with Opsys being a spinoff from a leading optical communication company. Prior to Opsys, Harel served as the General Manager of Finisar Israel, responsible for various business units and leading global R&D activities. Rafi played a key role in post-acquisition merger activities, including reorganization, manufacturing transfer, and profitability improvement. Before Finisar, Harel held positions at Orckit-Corrigent, Corrignet Systems, Corrigent Systems, Chromatis Networks (Lucent Technologies), and IDF, where they served in various managerial and engineering roles.

Rafi Harel attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1987 to 1991. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a specialization in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Communication, and Electro Optics.
