Sean Cullen

Sean Cullen has a diverse work experience in finance and operations. Sean is currently the VP of Finance & Operations at Optable since November 2022. Previously, they co-founded PivoHub in April 2019 and served as CEO until July 2022. At PivoHub, they played a key role in reinventing B2B commerce for the Long-Tail of the Beverage industry. Sean also worked as an Advisor at PivoHub from September 2016 to March 2019. Prior to PivoHub, Sean served as the CFO of Mantle Technology from March 2018 to February 2019. Sean also held the position of CFO-in-Residence at District 3, where they provided guidance on various business operations, from finance and accounting to sales and legal, from an unspecified date to August 2018. Earlier in their career, Sean worked as a Financial Analyst as a freelancer, offering services to small businesses in strategic acquisitions, project evaluation, and risk assessment. Sean'sindustry experience includes virtual (SAAS, online advertising & media), service (placement agencies, industrial equipment distributor), and goods (construction, industrial systems, automotive, beauty, and care) sectors.

Sean Cullen began their educational journey in the field of Sciences Pures at Collège Édouard-Montpetit from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained their DEC. Sean then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Concordia University from 2008 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Sean obtained the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute in December 2018. Prior to that, they successfully passed the CFA Level III exam in June 2013.
